Since the dawn of time, mankind has always lived close to the earth, in harmony with the magic and mysteries of this little blue planet. Only in recent years have we separated ourselves with walls and highways, buildings that block the sun, shoes that keep our feet from touching the soil. Take us back to our roots! The magic is still there, deep in the jungle and beneath the surface of the playa. We conjure it through ritual, art, music, dance, deep connection and wild celebration.
Dec 29 – Jan 06
For our fourth edition of Inner Refuge Gatherings, we wanted to do something a little different. The New Year is a meaningful time, and offers a wonderful opportunity for reflection, celebration, and deep connection with ourselves and each other. Why go to the same type of party every year when we have the chance to do something truly expansive and unforgettable!
So we are designing this edition of Inner Refuge to be exactly that - a uniquely magical celebration that will set the tone for 2019. We’ll spend the week nurturing our bodies, feeding our souls, making life-time friends, immersing ourselves in nature, sitting in ceremony, dancing to great music and calling in the new year with heightened consciousness and intention.
Imagine feeling totally revitalized and ready to step into the new year powerfully, instead of needing a vacation from a vacation! Best of all, we’ll get to share this magical time together as a family, and create connections that root us in friendship and community for the whole year to come. We are beyond excited about this next Inner Refuge Gathering and think it will be the best one yet!
For this edition of Inner Refuge, we have partnered with Reserva One Love, a unique hotel located in a private nature reservation on the northern coast of Colombia, on the shores of el Rio Palomino.
Set against a stunning backdrop of mountainous terrain and lush jungle, Reserva One Love is a perfect place to recharge and rejuvenate for the year to come - with eco-friendly accomodations, wholesome cuisine, and immersive experiences in the region’s abundance of waterfalls, beaches and jungles.
